If you are using Windows, can just use Windows Media Player


and not worry about installing anything else. I doubt it really matters what you use as long as you don't have any specific requirements.

One thing about WMP, the last time I ripped something in it which was probably a decade ago :-), I believe it's default was WMA files instead of MP3. Just a box in the rip options to look out for.
